What a first visit is actually like
A first visit is a private appointment with a beginning, a middle, and a price you hear before the treatment. This is that sequence. For the address, the phone, and the hours, use the contact page. Those details live there so they stay in one place.
Why this is a story, not a second contact page
The questions that need a factual answer — where the studios are, which number to use, what time the door opens — are answered on the contact page and in the FAQ. This note is the part those pages do not spend time on: what the hour feels like once you have decided to come.
Both studios are appointment-based. Bukit Merah is the original room at Blk 164 Bukit Merah Central. The second is on Bukit Batok Street 31, a short walk from Bukit Gombak MRT. You pick the one that is easier. The pace and the menu are the same.
Before you arrive
Most people book on WhatsApp. A useful message names the outlet, the concern, and any date you are hoping for. “Sensitive, congested chin, Thursday after work, Bukit Gombak” is enough. You do not need to know the treatment name. If you do know it, say so, and it can still be changed after the skin is seen.
Come with a clean face if you can, or be ready for the first step to be cleansing. Leave the heavy plan at home: a facial, a thread, and a long embroidery session are different lengths of afternoon. Threading can be a short stop. A facial is often 45 to 90 minutes. Embroidery needs a block of time and a calm week afterwards.
The first ten minutes
The room is a single appointment, not a row of chairs. You talk about what bothered you, what you have reacted to, and what you hoped would happen. Then the skin, brow, or area is looked at. The recommendation is for that day. If the $48 detox facial is the honest answer, you will hear that, including when you arrived curious about something further up the menu.
The guide price is said before the treatment starts. Ranges, where the menu has them, depend on the area. You can ask what would change the number. Payment is cash, PayNow, PayLah, or card, and CDC vouchers are accepted. None of that is a surprise at the end.
During the treatment
You can ask what a step is for. You can say the pressure is too much. BOJIN, RF, threading, and hair removal are explained in ordinary language before they happen, because the names are not self-explanatory and the sensations are different. Hair removal stays private and unhurried. Brow embroidery does not start until you have looked at the drawn shape.
There is no audience and no second person waiting inside the curtain. That is the reason the studios stay appointment-only. It also means a late arrival squeezes your own time, not a queue behind you.
When you leave
You get aftercare for the thing you had, not a generic card. Most treatments do not require you to hide for a day. Threading and some device work can leave short-lived redness. Embroidery has a real healing window, which is discussed before you commit. If something feels unlike what you were told to expect, message the studio rather than guessing from a forum.
You are not enrolled in a course of treatments on the way out. Come back when the hair grows, when the skin needs another look, or when a healed embroidery visit is due.
